Primarily, this is a test post, as I still have a good 15 days before I leave. However, I would like to briefly introduce the format which I'll be using throughout the lifetime of this blog.
My goal right now is to update this blog once a week. This may or may not actually happen - I may very well choose to update it in a much more sporadic fashion, which is in fact very likely. Attributing to this is the fact that I currently plan on uploading all of my pictures to this blog (that is, if I can find out how to create new pages with this template). My Rebel XT will finally get some use!
Each blog post will be preceded by a quote of my choosing. Generally this will pertain to the topic of the post. Whether or not that will be the case in the long run remains to be seen. The bread and butter of the post will contain thoughts regarding day to day experiences in Shanghai along with a few pictures - pretty straightforward. As far as the pictures at the end of the post: they're just to make the homepage look nice.
That's about all I have for now. As I said, this is primarily a test post with the illusion of providing information and the ancillary function of staving off boredom for an extra ten minutes. Ah, what to do with this time...
